German Chancellor Angela Merkel may visit Armenia in 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel has scheduled a visit to Armenia in 2011, according to the editor-in-chief of Armenisch-Deutsche Korrespondenz (ADK) magazine, Raffi Kantian.

As he told PanARMENIAN.Net “during President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Germany, Chancellor Merkel expressed intention to visit Armenia in 2011.

“I believe the visit will further promote bilateral relations,” Kantian said.

Chancellor of Germany press office, however, did not confirm the information, citing unfinalized program of visits for 2011.
