Armen Yeritsyan: industrial security plays important role in state’s securityOctober 13, 2010 - 15:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan said that industrial security plays an important role in state’s security in peacetime. “Human casualties are predictable during a war, but even one person’s death in peacetime is unacceptable, especially if it happens due to negligence and irresponsibility at work places,” Yeritsyan said in his welcoming speech at the 8th sitting of the CIS Intergovernmental Council for Industrial Security in Yerevan. “From this point of view, we have a great responsibility, while the Intergovernmental Council is a leading chain, where exchange of experience and information takes place at a high level, as well as security issues are coordinated,” the Minister said. Referring to Armenia’s industrial security, Yeritsyan noted that the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations develops and implements a program of technical security and cooperates with the country’s enterprises.
