Free tourist zone to be created in Kobuleti

PanARMENIAN.Net - The financial and budgetary committee of the Georgian parliament discussed a bill on facilitation of a free tourist zone development in Kobuleti.

According to parliamentary secretary of the government Gia Khuroshvili, this is the first precedent, but it is possible that similar zones will be created in other regions of Georgia as well, Georgia Online reported.

As per the bill, investors will be exempted from property and income taxes for 15 years, while the government will secure development of the infrastructure required for hotels.

The committee supported the bill.
