Armenian parliamentary speaker invites the head of OSCE PA to visit ArmeniaOctober 14, 2010 - 15:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During the visit to Athens, the Armenian delegation, led by the National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the political forces represented at the Hellenic Parliament. Issues of bilateral interest, as well as possibilities for activation of parliamentary relations were discussed. On October 13, Armenian delegation met with the head of OSCE PA Petros Efthymiou. Abrahamyan gave high assessment to the role of OSCE in strengthening of interparliamentary dialogue. Armenian parliamentary speaker characterized OSCE MG as the only possible format for the settlement of Karabakh conflict. The head of OSCE PA expressed his support for OSCE MG activities, noting that the issue cannot be delegated to other structures. In conclusion, Abrahamyan invited the head of OSCE PA to visit Armenia. Armenian parliamentary speaker also met with the representatives of the Armenian community of Greece.
