RA President’s administration head discusses construction works in Shirak and Lori regionsOctober 14, 2010 - 16:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the RA President’s Administration Karen Karapetyan held a meeting to discuss construction works implemented in Shirak and Lori regions due to state funds. During the meeting, Karapetyan once again recalled Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s instruction on strict control over the quality of large-scale construction works implemented in the earthquake zone from limited state funds. “If any shortages are revealed, construction works should be suspended, while the construction company should be obliged to eliminate them, so that residents do not face problems in future” said Karapetyan. For his part, the RA Minister of Urban Development briefed the meeting participants on construction works in Spitak and rural areas. The Armenian Chief Architect, heads of Shirak and Lori regions, Gyumri Mayor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Glendale Hills CJSC – a contractor - and other officials participated in the meeting, the presidential press service reported.
