All-Armenian Association of Financiers and Bankers establishedOctober 19, 2010 - 17:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - All-Armenian Association of Financiers and Bankers was established based on the results of the first all-Armenian conference of financiers and bankers hold in Yerevan on October 17-19. The Association is comprised of financiers from Diaspora, as well as representatives of Armenian ministries, Central Bank and Union of Banks of Armenia. Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan said that the association will be a non-governmental organization uniting professionals of Diaspora. “The Association will be revealing potential of Armenian financiers from Diaspora to direct it for Armenia’s development,” said Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) Ararat Ghukasyan, adding that the UBA will take care of organizational matters of the association. Besides, Ghukasyan said that, at the initiative of Lebanese bankers, Lebanon will host a meeting of Armenian and Lebanese bankers to exchange experience in 2011.
