Commenting on the recent statement of OSCE MG co-chairs, indicating Azeri name “Hankendi” as NKR capital, Ms. Yovanovitch noted, “there’s no change introduced, the mediators used this name before.” Dwelling on the blocking of the candidature of former OSCE MG co-chair Mattew Bryza for the position of U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ms. Yovanovitch stated, “Matthew Bryza enjoys the full trust of the President and State Secretary. We hope his candidature will be approved. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
