  Raffi Hovannisian calls on Armenian parliament to pass bill on NKR recognition  October 25, 2010 - 13:36 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage party board chairman Raffi Hovannisian has called on the parliamentary majority to pass the bill recognizing independence of the Artsakh Republic in the first reading. As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the scene, Mr. Hovannisian said the bill is of national importance and Heritage parliamentary group wants to know the date of voting. National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan noted for his part that according to the RA NA regulations, the bill will be put to the vote during the next 4-day parliament session. “I am open to discuss the issue with the opposition,” he said. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
