Russia reached its goal in Astrakhan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia has reached its goal in Astrakhan, an Armenian political analyst said.

“It maintained the status quo and ceasefire,” Caucasus Institute Director Alexander Iskandaryan said when commenting on the October 27 presidential meeting.

“The OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs did not mind holding the meeting before the summit in Astana. These talks produced some results, even a statement was issued, to my surprise,” he said, adding that the joint presidential statement does not contain “Meindorf” word not to “upset” Baku.
