Bernard Valero: Karabakh conflict should be resolved peacefully

PanARMENIAN.Net - France hails the declaration signed by the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the initiative of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, a spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry said.

“Measures approved by the sides can help alleviate tensions and reduce the number of ceasefire violations at the line of contact,” Bernard Valero said.

“As a co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group, France will do its utmost to achieve peaceful, fair and lasting resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” he said. “The French Foreign Ministry welcomes Dmitry Medvedev’s endeavors to that end.”
