Draft decision on Armenia-NKR military political alliance formation included in RA NA agendaOctober 29, 2010 - 16:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan said that the YouTube video, in which Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan allegedly “called U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and asked the U.S. Administration to refrain from the Armenian Genocide recognition,” seems to be very doubtful. Hovhannisyan said during a briefing in the RA NA he knows that there was a phone conversation between the Armenian President and U.S. Vice President, but its content was antipodal. “In other words, the Armenian President asked the U.S. Administration to promote the Armenian Genocide recognition,” he said. Hovhannisyan added that a draft decision of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun on formation of Armenia-NKR military political alliance has been already included in the RA NA agenda. “Though the draft decision has been positively estimated by a relevant committee, it is not put to vote, as the authorities consider it to be premature,” he said. “Under the current situation, the Armenian people will be waiting for the results of the upcoming OSCE summit in Astana, during which any result will not be achieved,” Hovhannisyan concluded.
