Yerevan to host forum of International Association of Francophone Mayors in 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by Montreal Mayor Gerald Tremblay.

Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan also participated in the meeting, the RA governmental press service reported.

The Armenian Prime Minister praised the role of friendly relations established between Yerevan and Montreal for the development of the Armenian-Canadian bilateral relations.

Tigran Sargsyan also thanked Montreal Mayor Gerald Tremblay for the friendly attitude towards Armenians of Canada.

For his part, Gerald Tremblay hailed the role of Armenians of Canada in boosting the bilateral relations.

Besides, the parties discussed matters of bilateral interest and attached importance to organization of 31st forum of the International Association of Francophone Mayors in Yerevan in 2011.
