Samvel Ter-Sahakyan takes lead at World Youth Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - 19 chess players represent Armenia in different age categories at the World Youth Chess Championship in Porto Carras, Greece.

After the 10th round, Armenian chess player Samvel Ter-Sahakyan is leading the championship in U18 category with 8,5 points to his score.

USA's Zierk Steven, with equal number of points is a runner-up at the championship.

In the last, 11th tour, Ter-Sahakyan will rival Aleksandr Shimanov of Russia; Steven will play against Azerbaijan's Vasif Durarbeyli.
