0.9% increase recorded in prices for non-foods in Armenia in October 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - The RA National Statistical Service reported that 0.2% increase was recorded in prices for non-foods in October 2010 as compared with last month. The inflation is basically reasoned by growth in prices for cloths (up to 2%), shoes (3.4%) and jewelry (7.3%).

In October, prices for petrol and diesel fuel grew by 1.1% and 1.6% respectively compared to September 2010. Meanwhile, 3.9% and 11.8% increase was recorded in prices for petrol and diesel fuel respectively in October 2010 as compared with the same period of last year.
