RA State Revenue Committee exceeds planned indices of tax and customs duties collectionNovember 3, 2010 - 19:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee Gagik Khachatryan said on November 3 that taxes and customs duties at the total amount of AMD 531bln were collected within nine months of 2010, exceeding the planned index by AMD 46bln. The collected sum is AMD 80bln and 3.5bln higher as compared with the same period of 2009 and 2008 respectively, Khachatryan told a press conference. Answering a journalist’s question concerning “poor work” of the Committee, Gagik Khachatryan said: “I have to frustrate some media representatives, who are looking for dark corners in tax and customs duties collection.” Moreover, AMD 581bln was collected within 10 months of 2010, exceeding the planned index by AMD 38bln.
