Yerevan interested in further development of cooperation with UAENovember 3, 2010 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, the Minister of Foreign Trade for the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Nalbandian said that Yerevan attaches importance to further development of cooperation with the UAE, expressing hope that the Minister’s visit, as well as Armenia-UAE business forum launched on November 3 will serve as a new impetus for the trade and economic ties between the two countries. According to Nalbandian, the establishment of a diplomatic representation of the UAE in Yerevan will facilitate strengthening of bilateral relations. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi noted for her part that over 40 entrepreneurs of the UAE, who participate in the forum, are interested in establishing ties with their Armenian colleagues. Besides, organization of the first sitting of Armenia-UAE intergovernmental committee was in the focus of the meeting, the RA MFA press service reported.
