Training of professionals for monuments restoration urgent for ArmeniaNovember 4, 2010 - 14:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Director of the Center for Restoration of Monuments Vardan Parsamyan said that training of professionals for rehabilitation of monuments is an urgent matter for Armenia. The Armenian Ministry of Culture negotiates establishment of an educational institution at the Center with the Italian Ministry of Culture, Parsamyan told a press conference in Yerevan. “First of all, we need professionals. Otherwise, the government would have better not to allocate funds for monuments restoration, as these can be damaged by incompetent restorers,” said Parsamyan.
