Galust Sahakyan: Armenian nation doesn’t resolve problems by organizing revolutions![]() November 5, 2010 - 16:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan said that the Armenian nation has never solved problems by organizing revolutions. The Armenian nation is conservative rather than revolutionary, Galust Sahakyan told a press conference in Yerevan, commenting on possibility of organization of protest actions during the 2012 parliamentary elections. As for the possible composition of the future Armenian parliament, Sahakyan said that, most likely, the current forces will maintain their seats in it. He said it is possible that such processes will take place in the Armenian National Congress (ANC) prior to the elections, which will allow ANC representatives to gain seats in the RA National Assembly. “However, I strongly doubt it,” he concluded. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
