Yerevan to host a Week of Modern Italian FilmsPanARMENIAN.Net - On November 8-13, Yerevan will host a Week of Modern Italian Films organized by Italian Embassy in Armenia jointly with Hamazgain Theater. At November 5 news conference, the Italian Ambassador to Armenia Bruno Scapini emphasized the importance of the event. “The cinema, especially Italian one, is addressing a message to generations, touching upon burning social issues,” Mr. Scapini noted. The films will be screened in Italian with English subtitles. AMD 2000 entry fee for all films was set. Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out. The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest. She called on others to also suspend their accounts over the companies’ failure to tackle hate speech.
