Ashot Danielyan from Artsakh wins champion’s title at World Sambo Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Ashot Danielyan (weight class 74kg), a sportsman of the Olympic Sport School of Artsakh, won the champion’s title in sport sambo at the World Sambo Championships held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

Danielyan won the champion’s title also at the European Combat Sambo Championships in 2010.

Armenia’s Ruzanna Sargsyan (weigh class 48kg), Tigran Kirakosyan (weight class 52kg) and Artak Tsatinyan (weight class 90kg) were 5th, the press service of the Armenian Sambo Federation told PanARMENIAN.Net

Champions in other weight classes of sport sambo will become known on November 6. Meanwhile, sportsmen struggling in combat sambo will enter the competition on November 7.
