Lyudmila Sargsyan: ANC has every chance to make up the parliamentary majority at extraordinary electionsNovember 8, 2010 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ANC will make up the majority in parliament, should the extraordinary elections be held. Regular election will lead to the reproduction of authorities, according to Hnchakyan social democratic party leader, ANC member Lyudmila Sargsyan. As she told a news conference in Yerevan, regular parliamentary elections may result in local population outflow. “Should the current situation continue, the regular parliamentary elections may never come. Grave social situation may lead to insubordination of people resulting in extraordinary elections,” she said. Commenting on the possible outcome of 2012 parliamentary elections, Sargsyan stated that the Prosperous Armenia will participate in the elections independently, while Orinats Yerkir will not have enough resources to enter the parliament. Commenting on ARF Dashnaktsutyun’s chances to enter the new parliament, she said, “the main issue of the ARFD is that the latter perceives itself as opposition while the people perceive it as a coalition. ANC has every chance to make up the parliamentary majority.” She forecasted 20% of ballots for ANC at regular elections.
