David Fahradyan performs 76 high bar giants on left hand, setting Guinness world recordNovember 13, 2010 - 16:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 13, Yerevan State Linguistic University gymnastics instructor David Fahradyan performed 76 high bar giants on left hand to set Guinness world record at Olympic Champion Hrant Shaninyan Sport School. He will receive the certificate confirming official registration of the record later. President of the RA National Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan said that he expected Fahradyan to set the record. “He is a very strong sportsman and I believed he will manage to do it,” said Tsarukyan. Fahradyan said for his part that he had trained for a year to set the record. “I even managed to perform 80-83 giants during trainings,” he said. It is noteworthy that in December 2009 Fahradyan was presented with Guinness World Records certificate for performing the most consecutive gymnastic high bar giants (350) in 10 minutes.
