Vladimir Putin congratulates UAR on 10th anniversary![]() November 17, 2010 - 17:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to participants of the 4th congress of the Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) and noted that the organization’s role in the development of friendly Russian-Armenian relations deserves the sincerest acknowledgement. “Over 10 years of active and fruitful activity, the UAR has become an authoritative and demanded public organization uniting over 2.5 million of Armenians of Russia,” the Russian Prime Minister's message reads. Mr. Putin also stressed the contribution of the UAR in boosting the close trade, economic, cultural and scientific ties between the two countries. He expressed belief that “good traditions and mission of the Union will allow it to dynamically develop in future,” the Russian governmental press service reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
