Kiro Manoyan: Yerevan must immediately withdraw signature from Armenian-Turkish protocols

PanARMENIAN.Net - To neutralize the Armenian-Turkish protocols, Yerevan must immediately withdraw its signature, ARF Bureau’s Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office director said.

“Having this signature, Turkey can gain more political leverage on Armenia,” Kiro Manoyan told a press conference on November 19.

As to resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, he said the ARFD “accepts the basic principles of the conflict settlement but the actions that can emanate from those principles are inadmissible.”

“The present-day Artsakh Republic is not NKAO. The people of Artsakh have expressed their will twice. Azerbaijan has lost the war it unleashed and now the Armenia side has nothing to compromise,” he said.

According to Manoyan, there is no reason to expect progress from the OSCE summit in Astana.
