45th anniversary of Uruguay’s recognition of Armenian Genocide marked

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 17, Uruguay parliament hosted a ceremonial event to mark 45th anniversary of the country’s adoption of the Law on Armenian Genocide recognition.

In his speech, Uruguay Vice President Danilo Astori stated, “through this law, Uruguay expressed solidarity with the Armenian nation in restoration of its rights.”
