As she noted, Azerbaijan hasn’t purchased the rights for broadcasting of Junior Eurovision. “We’re unsure if the contest was aired on Azerbaijani television. So we will not be able to file a complaint until discovering the actual facts. To the best of my knowledge, Azerbaijan takes no interest in the contest. The allegations that the broadcast was cut off were merely posted on Azeri forums.” According to some Armenian media reports, the issue of Azeri violations of Eurovision song contest rules will be raised at European Broadcasting Union meeting in Geneva. The broadcast of 2010 Junior Eurovision has been interrupted in Azerbaijan as soon as the contest winner was announced.
