Armenian Defense Ministry keeps secret the identity of person responsible for Nov. 19 incident

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Ministry’s Investigation Branch keeps secret the identity of the person responsible for November 19 incident, resulting in the deaths of 4 soldiers at NKR armed forces frontline.

In response to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question whether NKR defense army serviceman Manvel Azroyan was to blame for the incident, an official at PR department of Armenian Defense Ministry’s Investigation Branch Mary Sargsyan refused to divulge the information.

“We’ll possibly announce the name of the perpetrator after the accusations are brought against him,” she noted.

4 soldiers were killed and 4 injured in the incident that took place on the night of November 19 at the frontline of Nagorno Karabakh armed forces. Levon Yesayan, 19, Nerses Galoyan, 20, Narek Sahakyan, 20, and Nver Sargsyan, 19, were killed. Sargis Melkumyan, 19, Khachik Aleksanyan, 18, Masis Grigoryan, 19, and Manvel Azroyan, 19, were wounded. Investigation is going on.
