Turkey provides Georgia with USD1.5 million worth of logistic supplies

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Turkish General Staff has provided the Georgian Defence Ministry with logistic supplies. According to the Defence Ministry, Georgia received technical equipment worth USD1.5 million under a military grant agreement dated 2005.

Georgia received eight batches of vehicles and other technical equipment, Trend reported.

"Turkey and Georgia have major experience of cooperating in defence sector,” Georgian Deputy Defence Minister Nodar Kharshidaze said, further thanking Turkey for assistance provided.

"We are cooperating in logistics and education," Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Levent Murat Burhan said. "Today's event is part of the annual assistance provided by Turkey to Georgia"
