Technical amendments to be introduced to the bill on funded pensionsNovember 26, 2010 - 16:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In June 2010, at the first reading of Armenian parliament, a package of legislative amendments to over 50 laws, envisaging implementation of funded pension system in the country, was adopted. “The issue was widely discussed by journalists, MPs, NGO representatives, with discussion results to be presented at the second reading due in December,” the head of the financial market development department at the RA Ministry of Finance, Karen Tamazyan told a news conference. Certain technical amendments were introduced to the bill on funded pensions, based on over 200 suggestions, he said.
