Armenia's gross international reserves increased by 3.7% in third quarter of 2010November 29, 2010 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s gross international reserves increased by $65.7mln or 3.7% in the third quarter of 2010, amounting to $1.85mln. Meanwhile, the special drawing rights (SDR) in the International Monetary Fund decreased by 0.4% as of the end of September 2010 as compared with the beginning of the third quarter, amounting to $43.3mln, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reported. Besides, the gross external liabilities amounted to $691.7bln as of the end of the third quarter of 2010 that is 6.3% higher compared to the beginning of the quarter. Armenia’s net external reserves totaled $1161mln by the end of September 2010 against $1,135.9mln in the beginning of July.
