EBRD to finance programs on refuse processing in Armenia in 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the EBRD office in Yerevan Valeriu Razlog said that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will implement 26 projects in Armenia at the total amount of USD 80mln.

“It is less than we allocated in 2009 – around USD 100mln,” Razlog said on November 30.

“We hope that the amount will be higher, as there are projects, which are in process of preparation, and we will sign them in 2011,” he said.

Razlog noted that the bank will continue financing Armenia’s banking sector in 2011, while programs on refuse processing and water sphere can become unprecedented programs in 2011. Besides, the transport field is also under consideration, concluded Razlog.
