 Herman Van Rompuy: MG best format for Karabakh conflict settlement  December 1, 2010 - 12:14 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Unsettled conflicts are jeopardizing European security, President of European Union said during the OSCE Summit in Astana. According to Herman Van Rompuy, EU-proposed principles should be applied for the resolution of the conflict in Transnistria. As to Nagorno Karabakh, the EU President said that the best mechanism to settle the conflict is the OSCE Minsk Group format. Touching upon South Ossetia and Abkhazia, he said the EU supports Georgia’s territorial integrity and hail official Tbilisi’s intention to avoid use of force.
