Armenia will recognize NKR in case of Azerbaijan's new aggression, Sargsyan warnsDecember 2, 2010 - 11:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh has no future as a part of Azerbaijan, Armenian President stated. “Whatever the solution to the conflict would be, it should be based on the will of Karabakh people, which is the axis of the right of nations to self determination,” Serzh Sargsyan said in his address to the OSCE summit in Astana. “Azerbaijan has no political, legal or moral right to claim Karabakh,” he stated. “Baku’s aspiration for unilateral decisions is doomed to failure and hampers the ongoing peace talks. During the recent week I got added evidence that Azerbaijan is not interested in resolution of the conflict, its only aim being to damage Armenia as much as possible.” The President went on to emphasize that official Yerevan doesn’t accept use of force as a means to resolve the conflict. “However, if Azerbaijan resumes hostilities, Armenia will have to recognize independence of Artsakh and to invest all its capabilities into ensuring the security of Artsakh,” he stated.
