Shavarsh Kocharyan: Artsakh continues building independent state, irrespective of everything

PanARMENIAN.Net - Commenting on the Armenian President’s statement in Astana that Armenia will recognize Artsakh’s independence in case of Azerbaijan’s aggression, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said that Armenia has de-facto recognized Artsakh’s independence long ago.

According to him, Armenia and Arstakh enjoy equal rights in their relations.

At the same time, Kocharyan noted that the OSCE summit was a serious signal for Baku, once again displaying Azerbaijan’s isolation.

“If Azerbaijan wants to settle the matter, but not to maintain the status-quo, it should reject its destructive policy,” Kocharyan said.

He added that, irrespective of everything, Artsakh continues building an independent state and proving that it deserves to have its place on map of the world as an independent democratic state.
