Kosovo can’t be precedent for Karabakh, German Ambassador says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Germany is understanding of Armenia’s position on implementing three basic principles for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, German Ambassador to Armenia said.

“We also understand the reasons why Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan did not go to Lisbon for a NATO summit,” Hans-Jochen Schmidt told journalists in Yerevan.

“Armenia cites the Hague Court decision on Kosovo independence. Personally I and the German people support the right to self-government. But, according to my country’s stance, Kosovo can’t be a precedent for Karabakh,” he stated.
