People’s Party of Armenia denies disagreement within ANC

PanARMENIAN.Net - The People’s Party of Armenia (PPA) as a part of the Armenian National Congress continues struggling for conduction of pre-term elections in the country, PPA board chairman said.

The ANC is the only powerful opposition force in Armenia and all reports about its collapse are not true to fact,” Grigor Harutyunyan told a news conference. “There are no disagreement within the Congress.”

Harutyunyan also remarked that the voting on Nagorno Karabakh recognition bill in the Armenian parliament was a wrong decision.

“The coalition and parliamentary opposition had to reach a consensus on the issue first,” he said.

As to foreign policy, Harutyunyan said the ‘football’ diplomacy has failed completely.
