Head of Armenian Police believes motor race in protest of mandatory vehicle insurance to be “normal occurrence”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party applied to Yerevan Mayor’s Office requesting permission to organize motor race in protest of mandatory vehicle insurance.

At December 16 news conference, the head of Armenian Police Alik Sargsyan characterized the initiative as “normal occurrence”.

Dwelling on mandatory vehicle insurance acquisition time-frames, Sargsyan promised lenient attitude of police officers during holiday period. However, after the New Year, the police will be instructed to fulfill their responsibilities in due form.
