Karen Karapetyan elected Yerevan Mayor

PanARMENIAN.Net - ArmRosgazprom board chairman Karen Karapetyan was elected Yerevan Mayor with a 50-1 vote on December 17.

According to the law on self-government, the Mayor will assume the duties three days after election.

Former Mayor Gagik Beglaryan resigned following an incident with a presidential administration member.
