VivaCell-MTS to pay tuition fees for 150 Armenian university studentsDecember 17, 2010 - 16:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS, announced the launch of the Education Fund for 1st and 2nd year students who are in special need, and who live in dire economic conditions. The Company will support the students provided they continue on succeeding to finish the academic year and qualify for the next academic year until they graduate. This unique scholarship aims at providing these students with a supported access to university education by covering their educational fees during the whole period of their study. “The scholarship will be provided to 150 of the most socially-vulnerable young people to support their access to education. This project is being implemented as a part of our efforts to help our country eradicate poverty by giving our upcoming generations the opportunity to gain professional knowledge and skills,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said. 150 students from Yerevan and remote regions of Armenia will benefit from the project, the company’s press service reported.
