POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT OF ARMENIA BECOMES SAFER AND MORE PREDICTABLE, PRESIDENT STATES

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, June 4. /Mediamax/. “The political environment of Armenia becomes safer and more predictable, which is very important for our business partners and investors”, Armenian President Robert Kocharian said today in his exclusive interview to Mediamax.

We have made much progress in creation of democratic institutions. Our country seeks to create such rules of game that will be clear, will correspond to international standards and be acceptable for businessmen, and to guarantee their further observance,” Kocharian stressed.

“We see the nowadays Europe as a multi-layer political construction, through which the collective striving for solution of issues of security, establishment of democracy, human rights, law and transition to more developed economic systems is being expressed. By becoming the member of European Council, Armenia has declared its aspiration for being the active participant of those processes. I think we may have a success if we develop harmoniously each of those directions,” President said. --0--
