3.4% growth recorded in sale proceeds of Armenia's largest taxpayersDecember 20, 2010 - 14:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the Analysis of Summarized Indices of Large Taxpayers' Monitoring conducted at 343 largest taxpayers in October 2010 by the State Revenue Committee, the sale proceeds of Armenia's largest taxpayers totaled AMD 178.9bln in October 2010 that is 3.4% more as compared with the same period in 2009. Meanwhile, growth in this index was recorded at 170 companies – AMD 31.7bln. At the same time, decrease in sale proceeds of 155 taxpayers was recorded – AMD 24.6bln. 85 inspections were conducted by tax bodies in October 2010, as a result of which AMD 270.3mln additional payments were made to the state budget. 0.5% growth was recorded in the average number of employees in October 2010 compared to the same period in 2009, totaling 114,323 people.
