Azeri Foreign Ministry doesn’t dare announce EP member as persona non grata

PanARMENIAN.Net - In connection with member of the European Parliament, chief rapporteur on the Armenian affairs Tomas Poreba’s “illegal” visit to Karabakh, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia and Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhal Labenda have today been invited to the Foreign Ministry and presented note of protest of Azerbaijani side on this issue, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

The opposite side was informed that the incident caused serious protest of Azerbaijani side and foreign citizens paying illegal visits to Karabakh show disrespect to sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and they will be entered into the list of persona non grata in Azerbaijan.

A request was made for EU structures and Polish government to take appropriate measures against such instigator steps directed to strain the current situation in the region, according to Trend.
