Karine Achemyan: government reshuffle was expected

PanARMENIAN.Net - 2010 was a hard year for Armenia, an MP said.

“However, despite the global financial crisis, the Armenian government could secure 2.6% economic growth,” member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Karine Achemyan told a news conference on December 23.

Dwelling on cultural events, she emphasized the inclusion of the art of khachkar creation in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

As to Nagorno Karabakh conflict, she noted that only people who are well aware of the settlement process are entitled to speak of it.

MP Achemyan slammed those who are spreading misinformation about the Armenian army.

Asked to comment on the government reshuffle, she said it was expected, as it helps the country’s development.
