Armenian fonts for mobile phones to be presented in January 2011December 27, 2010 - 14:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The official version of Armenian fonts for Symbian, Android, Windows mobile, MeeGo and Maemo-based phones is ready and will be presented in January 2011. Applications based on DejaVu font will be with open code and available on the web, project coordinator Aleksey Chalabyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. Armenian fonts will be universal and compatible with other devices. According to Chalabyan, web users can continue with development of fonts for various phone models. The project is implemented in the framework of a program launched by Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation–Armenia.
