Ara Nranyan: dismissal of several ministers will not “save” ArmeniaDecember 27, 2010 - 17:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ara Nranyan, ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group member serving on the NA standing committee on economic affairs, has said that dismissal of several ministers will not “save” Armenia. Commenting on the dismissal of Armenian Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan, Nranyan said: “The matter is not in persons, but in the government’s approach towards economy development. During the crisis, the government supported only one enterprise operating in food industry, what has affected other enterprises’ activity.” According to him, the matter is not in persons, but in tasks set before them. “All these ministers are good specialists, however, political courage and ability to think independently are not encouraged today,” Nranyan said. He added that ministers submit bills, which hamper development of the fields, for which they are responsible. “For example, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs submits antisocial bills,” Nranyan said.
