Levon Aronian gains fist victory at Wijk Aan Zee Chess Tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the 4th tour of 73rd Tata SteelChess Tournament in Wijk Aan Zee, Levon Aronian, playing with white pieces, beat Ian Nepomniachtchi of Russia.

This has been the first victory of the Armenian grandmaster, who ended his previous games at the championship in ties.

India’s Viswanathan Anand won in a 4th tour match with China’s Wang Hao.
