  Representatives of Armenian intellectual elite urge Armenian and Georgian Presidents to liberate Vahagn ChakhalyanJanuary 21, 2011 - 20:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of United Javakhk democratic alliance, Vahagn Chakhalyan was sentenced to 10 years in prison on a concocted charge, which was directly linked to his public and political activities for protection of Javakhk Armenians’ rights, representatives of Armenian intellectual elite stated in an open letter to Armenian and Georgian Presidents. The intellectual elite representatives urge for liberation of Chakhalyan, stressing that his activities were implemented within the framework of law, the letter said.
