Grigory Trofimchuk: Russia must intensify activities for Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia must intensify activities in Karabakh conflict settlement process, according to the first vice president of Strategic Development Modeling Center.

During a TV space bridge Grigory Trofimchuk stressed the importance of trilateral Armenia-Russia-Azerbaijan ministerial meeting in Moscow. “However, after 15 years of negotiations, it’s hard to discern whether meetings are held to produce result or to prepare reports.”

“For many years, Ilham Aliyev carries on with threats addressed to Armenia. At some point, his statements will no longer be taken seriously, suggesting impending destabilization of situation in Azerbaijan,” the Russian expert said.
