Spokesperson for the RA Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that Armenian citizens have not suffered as a result of rallies in Egypt. Students from Armenia study in Cairo University, besides there are Armenian tourists in the country. Thousands of Egyptians took to the streets to demand resignation of incumbent President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak. Rallies in Cairo continue for three days already. According to foreign media, the family of Mubarak’s son Gamal has left Cairo. Currently, he is in London. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
