VivaCell-MTS subscribers base grossed 2.46mln SIM-cards as of end of 2010January 27, 2011 - 13:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The VivaCell-MTS subscribers’ base grossed 2.46mln SIM-cards as of the end of 2010. 18.7% growth was recorded in the subscribers’ base of VivaCell-MTS compared to 2009, the company’s press service reported. In addition, the subscribers’ base increased by 9.5% in December as compared with November 2010. Armenia is the third by the pace of growth in subscriber base among the CIS countries, where MTS operates (Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Belarus), being behind Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Besides, the consolidated number of MTS subscribers increased by 1.72 million in December 2010 to comprise 103.35 million users as of December 31, 2010.
